What a busy week

Last weekend we took the girls to see Santa. That was a fun experience. Sarah was 'scared' of him so I had to hold her for a quick picture.

Not much happened last week. Just the usual. Here are a couple pictures.

Over the weekend we baked Christmas cookies. Dawn and her kids came over Friday after work/school and stayed pretty late. We had a lot of fun and baked a lot of cookies/candies. Eric went to Chicago for his old office Christmas party. He surprised everyone when he revealed his face out from under a Santa beard. Yes, Eric played Santa. Sounds like they all had a good time.

Eric and I baked more over the weekend. I think we are almost done.

The weather people called for 2-4" of snow yesterday and another 1-2" last night. I think we got a total of maybe 2.5". They are calling for another 'big' snow on Thursday evening. I'll believe it when I see it. This town is not a lot of fun. We don't get much snow, it's mostly ice, and the crews they have to take care of the roads are horrible.
We are pretty much ready for Christmas. I have all the shopping done minus the food. It's going to be nice not traveling. We're planning on starting our new tradition this year. Not sure all the details of it yet but I know it doesn't include a vehicle.

Hope everyone is healthy!!
