We woke up early and it wasn't very pleasant putting on our shoes nor stepping out of our tent in 55degree weather. My feet felt like they were covered in blisters (they weren't) but nothing was stopping me! We shipped off around 7:30 and took our time. After the first mile my feet re adapted to my shoes and I was good to go!
We actually had a casualty about 6 miles into our day. Kristi fell over and couldn't walk. We called the sweep van and had them transport her to the next stop to get medical attention. After about an hour they took her to the hospital were she was treated for severe dehydration and then released. She greeted us when we returned to camp.
Saturday night we ate dinner, showered and just hung out. We went to bed pretty early.
