June Already?

I can't believe it's June!! Where is time going?

The girls are doing great. They Love baby Sophia. Sarah is so motherly with her and Rachel is always wanting to hold her bottle. They are such cute little moms. The other day when Sophia was sleeping Sarah picked up her baby and was patting her on the back. It was very sweet. Rachel is over her jealousy issue completely. I've asked them to help mommy with little things to involve them so they don't feel left out.


The girls are getting better at eating by themselves. Every morning for breakfast they eat their oatmeal in their own little bowl. They take a bite then hand me the spoon. I'm trying to teach them how to get the food on the spoon but they don't seem to want to learn.

Our new table finally arrived. still missing 2 chairs

The girls and I spent the morning outside while the baby was sleeping. It's very humid/windy/ warm out. They had a good time and told me when they wanted to come back in. They had their snack and are watching Word World right now. I think that educational tv is good for kids. I usually have it on in the background and they will stop in passing and look at it or if music is playing they will walk over to the tv and dance.. I can't believe they are actually sitting in their big girl chairs watching it!?!


Yesterday I was walking Brock and Sophia out and I heard the girls crying. I of course think the worst and run back in. I found them sitting in the swing which is a big no,no. Needless to say I took a picture, removed them and put the swing away.

Last night Daddy taught the girls the word Banana. Two pretty cool things happened. 1) when I asked Sarah to say Banana she ran to the kitchen and pointed to the top of the fridge and grunted. (that's where the bananas are.) 2) this morning I asked the girls to say banana and Rachel looked at her books, went to the shelf and pulled down the book and flipped through the pages until she found the banana page.

Rachel has gotten her bottom left eye tooth. Sarah finally got her bottom 2 molars. Other than that not much of an update on their growing. We go next week for their 18 mos appointment.
