15 Months

The girls had their 15 mos well-check two weeks ago. The Dr said they were doing great. Their shots were postponed until 18 mos since Rachel had a 103.5 fever. I knew Rachel had a fever and Sarah had one over the weekend and was giving her Motrin/Tylenol however it spiked while we were there. I found out that day that both girls had double ear infections and red throats. Boy did I feel like the worst mom in the world. The girls were on antibiotics for 10 days and we were hoping that would be the end of it.

Rachel has not been acting like herself lately and I called my pre-dr (Michelle) and asked her some questions. The girls started having fevers again and are all congested yet their noses are running constantly. Their cough is deep and horrible sounding however it's not in their lungs. So I broke down and took them to the Dr yesterday. The both still have ear infections and we're on our second dose of antibiotics. As for their cough, congestion and runny nose... it's that time of the year.

Sarah weighed 22# 9 oz and was 31 1/2" long
Rachel weighed a whopping 19# 4oz and was 30 1/2" long (will she ever gain weight???)

Today has been pretty rough. Rachel hasn't been sleeping well at night and so far today she screams bloody murder if I'm not holding her at all times. I'm sooo happy it's nap time!! I feel so bad, I wish I could trade places with her!
