Whew... a minute to sit down! But only a minute.
The craziness started last Thursday (4-17-07). I started getting calls from real estate agents, termite inspectors, relocation coordinator and the list goes on...
I worked my butt off Thursday night to be ready for the first realtor to look at our house(Friday) and give us some figures and his strategy. Then on Saturday Aunt Lolly and Uncle Doug came over to help with the girls and getting last minute things done like mulching, cleaning windows, fixing the mailbox. They were a HUGE help!! Sunday the other Realtor came over and went through their proposal with us. Monday I kinda took a day for me and met Joy for lunch with the girls and did a little mall walking to get out of the house. Tuesday the termite inspector came out, I finalized our list of houses we want to see in Bloomington, called the bank and got pre-approved, made Amos' puppy hotel arrangements, spoke with the relo coordinator to find out where we were with things. Needless to say, we are done and have our house ready to be sold. Which is good because it goes on the market Tomorrow!!
We're packing up and heading to Wayne and Michelle's tonight for our house hunting adventure. Michelle has volunteered to watch the girls for us which will be a huge help!! I just hope she doesn't go crazy with adding 2 more kids.
Today's plan is to drop Amos off at the puppy hotel, meet the realtor to get the lock box for our door, pack bags for all of us for the next couple days, do a once over clean up, pack the van and wait for Eric to get home and then leave. I'm looking forward to the drive! I'll get to rest a little (if the girls are good).
