I needed a break from cleaning and organizing so I took one. Janet from next door came over with her three kids to watch and play with the girls to give me a break. I loved it!!
I've been getting up more with Rachel the last couple nights than I ever did with both of them when they were first born. She rolls over onto her back and can't figure out how to get herself rolled back over. The poor kid's driving me crazy!!
I'm cute!
I didn't do it!!
Rachel smiling
She loves this play mat. Thanks cousin Isaac.

Laura,
It's the sleep nazi, Mary, here. Here's a suggestion. Stop rolling her back over. She'll figure it out or figure out how to cope with sleeping the other way. She's using this as a way to get your attention. Babies are crafty, I'm telling you!
Hey laura,
Do you use a two sided sleep positoner (wedge) with the girls. It helps keep them from rolling over... It worked for Nolan for awhile, until he figured out he could get out of it by sliding down then over. Anyways... when Nolan started to roll over and the positoner did not work anymore I still got up to turn him over... until I knew he could do it himself. He wasn't crying but I was parnoid about him sleeping on his tummy. Since they are not suppose to sleep on their tummies for a year or until they can turn themself over. At least this is what I was told by my doctor. You know your girls best, do what you feel comfortable doing. I felt better getting up, it eased my mind... but I am also a new mom so what do I know... Hope she figures out how to roll back over soon for ya! It did not take Nolan very long.
Just have patience with Rachel. Soon she will learn to roll back over. They are little and learn one thing at a time and sometimes that takes awhile. Each new thing they learn is an accomplishment for them.
Soon you will say in your blog---She did it--Rolled back over!!!!!
Take care and enjoy the girls ---they are growing soooo fast.
Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers there! Rachel starts out on her belly and wants back rolled over to her belly is the impression I got from Laura's original post. Of course I think Laura should do whatever she feels is best; it's just kind of a joke between Michelle and I about being sleep nazi's, hence my first post.
Mary - I told her the same thing that your wrote in your first comment. Stop rolling her back and she'll get the point. Worked for all 3 of mine.
