As Eric has mentioned we’ve had a lot of company helping us to make the adjustment from being two to four. Wayne and Michelle (Connor, Lindsey and Isaac too) came to visit on Friday. We celebrated the Sinks Christmas since we were all here (Dad and Madonna too). It was nice! A little overwhelming since it was right around feeding time but we managed.
Wayne left on Sunday and took the kids home. Michelle and Isaac are staying for the week. I don’t think I could have managed without her. She is helping me with advice on breastfeeding since I’m doing it tandem. Also it took a few days for my supply to come in and I was frustrated. Michelle’s Mom (Sandi) has been a big help over the phone. She’s given a lot of advice on how to keep them awake during their feedings. Somehow the girls got their nights and days mixed up and it was just killing Eric and me. We have been working on a schedule and trying to get the night naps where they should be. Last night was actually a good night. They were only up 3 times and were back down within an hour.
We’ve had lots of visitors and phone calls. Thank you to everyone who is thinking about us!
Here are some more pictures.
