Another surgery

I was instructed by my 2nd opinion Urologist to go to the ER the next time I had pain to have my kidney rescanned. (I went to the ER Wednesday Feb 24th) After spending 5 hours waiting and 2 shots of dilaudid the ER Dr walked in and said 'Wow, I can't believe your still walking around'. Needless to say my kidney was severely ballooned and there was no question what was wrong. I called the urologist Thursday and he was able to see Eric and me. He also commented on the size of my ballooned kidney. We discussed the options and decided it was time to operate.  He only did open surgery so he referred me to another urologist that does the procedure laparoscopy. I got a phone call Thursday night saying my appt with the 'new' urologist was Monday in Peoria. I spent the day at Michelle's house then headed to my appt that evening. After reviewing my tests and scans the Urologist informed me that he wanted to operate this week.

So.... Surgery schedule for Friday March 5th. It will be an overnight stay and a lovely catheter. It's all worth it if this will fix me.
