When someone asks, what do you say??

If someone asked, 'How was your weekend?' How would you respond?? Would you use the simple 'it was fine thanks, how was yours?' or would you actually go into detail about your weekend?

Well.... Our weekend was nice! We started swim lessons on Friday night. Saturday began like it's normal routine, Ohio State played. Now here is where everything changed. I offered to mow the yard so Eric could watch the girls and the game. (I thought that was a nice gesture and he appreciated it.) I also weed whacked. What a nightmare, we got a new weed whacker and this was the first that I had used it. It has to weigh 30 pounds or more not to mention it vibrates like a jackhammer. (needless to say I don't think I'll be volunteering to do that again) I came in and finished watching the OSU game. After the girls woke up from their nap, Eric and I went on a date. Yep, a date, without the girls! We went to the batting cages then to dinner. I had so much fun!!! I wish we could do that more often. I really enjoyed our evening. Then our night became more normal again and Dawn and Brian came over and we sat in the driveway 'til midnight or so.

Sunday... this is definitely another day!! We have been needing to work in the yard for a while and get some areas fixed. Let's just say, 6 hours later Eric and I (more Eric since I was running back and forth to deal with the girls) raked our entire lot. Yes, we de-thatched our entire 5000 sq ft lot by hand. (what were we thinking??) Eric seeded and watered the yard while I fixed dinner. We pretty much relaxed the rest of the evening and headed to bed a little early.

As for pictures this weekend... I didn't take any. I'll try to get some today.
