Recap

Last Friday (two weeks ago) the girls and I headed to Michelle's house first thing. We got a babysitter and Michelle and I were off. We spent the day doing fun things with NO kids. The day went way too fast!!

Speaking of fast, last week went so fast I didn't blog and I don't even remember anything that happened. Sarah went potty a couple times and is getting pretty good at telling us she had to go. Rachel just thinks it's fun to sit on the potty. Not much of a desire for her to try yet. Oh, well.

Friday the girls and I headed to Michelle's again. This time I watched Isaac on Saturday while they had a big kid family day. When I got home on Saturday I ran a couple errands and prepared for our big Saturday night date with the neighbors(we've been doing this every Saturday for a month or so. After the kids go to bed we sit in the driveway and listen to music and pretty much hang out until wee hours of the morning. Last week Dawn mentioned that she wanted to have smoore's so we fired up the chiminea and roasted marsh mellows even a turkey dog for Brian.

We took the girls to the pool on Sunday. They are doing so well with swimming and get so excited when they see the sprinklers at the entrance of the pool. We played for a little while then went down the slide a couple times. I've always wanted to try the lazy river so Eric and I tried it anticipating a very quick trip but the girls enjoyed it. We went around 4 times I couldn't believe how well they did just sitting in the inner tube with us.
We were practicing our dives and jumping in. Rachel was turned around facing the lazy river bent over speaking gibberish to a man floating down the river. He laughed and waved to her. (I think she made his day) Sarah acted like Miss America. She was waving to everyone. I think the girls are starting to come out of their shells.

This week I have a lot to do to get ready for our reunion. There's so much to get ready with little ones. Especially for being gone for 3 days. I'm looking forward to seeing all our family. This year we will be celebrating 30 years of getting together. It's a lot of work but so worth it!

All my little people are sleeping now so I'm off to get some work done. I'll try to get some pictures up.
