We packed up and headed to Cleveland for Mother’s day. Over the river, and through many woods, to Grandmother's house we go; the Corolla knows the way to carry the bag and pack-n-plays. Yes that is right; we packed everything into the little Corolla for better gas mileage. (it looked like a clown car) It was a little tight but we managed to fit every thing we needed in to it. We borrowed the Sinks’ car dvd player just in case we needed it. The girls were great on the way there and we didn’t use it. However on the way back we did need it towards the end. Grandma was very excited to see us!!
Friday we helped Grandma around the house with wall paper stripping and replacing some of the window screens. Friday night Eric and I met up with an old college buddy of mine while grandma babysat.
Saturday we went and watched cousin Brooks play baseball… Watch out Sabathia!! We came back and hung out with Mom. Eric and Mom worked more on the kitchen. All I have to say is whoever put up the wallpaper in Mom’s house needs to be hung up by their toes and …..
Sunday we made the long journey home. It rained most of the way and was VERY windy!!
