The past week and a half has been a complete whirl-wind! So much has happened and gone on that my fingers will get tired before I'm half way through telling about it.
Our Kitchen is finally to the point that I'm okay with it and can start bringing things back into it. However, I still need to caulk around the counter tops/walls and hang the curtains. Eric is working on the trim and the door for me.
Our Living room is half way done. I have the trim and the bay window done so tomorrow I should be able to get the ceiling trim painted and the walls all rolled. I will hopefully have this done by Friday. I can't wait to finally put my furniture back where it goes and watch tv. (anything on tv)
The girls went for swim lessons on Saturday. We were there about 15 min early so Eric and I let them play in the kiddy pool. I think it wore them out because during lessons they were acting very 'out' of it. They still had a lot of fun. I can't wait for them to go this Saturday. They seem to really enjoy the water. (still no pics..)
Monday, Wayne went out of town so the girls and I went to the Sinks' house to play with Isaac and spend a few days there. I think they had a lot of fun. They are all at the age where they get along. Sarah and Isaac 'ganged' up on Rachel last night and she ended up running to mommy crying. Sarah seems to be very fond of Isaac. She follows him around most of the time. Michelle and I were in her office last night (it's right off of the toy room) and we could hear Isaac saying things and it sounded a lot like 'Sarah' and 'Rachel'. Sure enough he calls them by name now. She just called a little bit ago and said he was walking around the house calling for them. It is so cute!!!
While the kids napped, Michelle and I worked on the curtains for my living room/sliding glass door/ kitchen. She had the idea so I went with it. She pretty much told me where to sew and I did it. I am looking so forward to getting the cornices up and everything done. It is going to look SO nice! (did I mention that the sewing machine was my Mom's and is probably older than I am)
Tonight was Daddy's first Softball game. His team won 13-3. We got there in time to watch the last inning and a half. (I parked at the wrong end of the park) The girls did really well sitting in the stroller watching the game and everything around them. They met a little girl tonight (she's 15 mos) Catalina. (One of Eric's co-worker's daughter) They will have to have play dates this summer!
I spoke with Amy tonight. I will start watching Sophia Grace (I love the name) May 15. Next week they are going to come over and visit. I can't wait to meet her.
As for the rest of this week... I will be trying to finish painting/ cleaning. I will hopefully get pics of the new rooms soon.
