Last Wednesday at swim class Rachel blew bubbles for the first time! How exciting is that?!? Sarah jumped off the edge of the pull into my arms. The girls seem to LOVE swimming so I guess we'll have to sign them up for the next session. I took the water camera to get developed. None of the pictures turned out so I will have to wait until this summer to get some water pictures of the girls. I was very sad!!
Thursday my girlfriend Karen watched the girls in the afternoon and I went to Wayne and Michelle's new house to help unpack. (Nothing went right with the house closing and the movers were HORRIBLE!! I felt so bad for them) I brought Isaac back with me and kept him until Saturday. Everything went great. We had so much fun playing! Saturday we were playing and Isaac fell and bumped his face on the coffee table. I called Michelle and told her I thought he needed stitches. I quickly packed the girls and Isaac and headed over to her house. I dropped off Eric and the girls and Michelle, Isaac and I headed to the hospital. They wanted to use stitches because it wasn't a clean tear, but in order to do that he would need sedated. He had just eaten about an hour before that, so they couldn't sedate him and didn't want to wait several hours. The only other way to do the stitches would be to numb him and hold him down for several minutes and that really wasn't a good idea. So, they decided to use the Dermabond glue and do their best to line it up right. It took Michelle and a nurse to hold his head still. I was practically laying on the little guy and the Dr was 'gluing' the cut.I don't want to ever go through that again! Michelle said he is doing well and isn't picking at his lip.

Nothing else is really going on here.

Remind me to NEVER have you babysit my kids! :)
I'm just kidding. It happens to all of us. Emily was playing at my Grandpa's house in his cabinets when she was 18 months old, something I let her do at home all the time, and she dropped a can on her toe. We didn't think it was a big deal until later that night when she was screaming and crying! So, we called the doc and off to the ER to have it drilled so that the blood could some out from behind the nail.
So, I completely understand how accidents happen!
