This past week Eric's Grandfather passed away. We left Friday to head to Cleveland. We stayed at my Dad's house Friday night then finished up the drive to Mom's on Saturday. The viewing was Sunday evening and the Funeral was Monday. The girls got to meet about 90% of Eric's family. They had all seen pictures but never met them.
Eric's Grandpa served in the U.S Army Air Force from 1945-47. Grandpa was one of the area’s best fast-pitch softball pitchers of the 1950s and was inducted into the Akron Amateur Softball Hall of Fame in 1989, with a win/loss record of 200-80. He recorded 5 no-hitters in his career, one in a NEO District Tournament.
He was a great man and will truly be missed!!

ET - we could have used your Grandpa on all those trips we took out to UVA to play softball!
