Where to begin...
Saturday Dec 22 we headed to my Dad's house for Christmas with him and my family. The girls were pretty good on the car ride. The last 30 min or so they got a little fussy so we turned on the DVD player for them. (thanks to the Sinks family for letting us borrow them) They were so excited to see Grandpa!! Rachel gave him big hugs then went to play with the toys. It takes Sarah a little longer to warm up to you when she does she wants you to give her all your attention. We celebrated Christmas Sat. night and had a feast for dinner!
Sunday (I forgot the camera among other things) After the girls took their nap we went to my Grandma's house visited and celebrated Christmas with her. The rest of the family was celebrating on Monday. We were happy to be able to spend time with just Grandma. She was able to enjoy the girls better this way. Though we did miss seeing cousins.
Monday morning we loaded up the van and headed to Eric's Mom's house. That wasn't such a bad drive. Aunt Kristi was there and Uncle Paul came over later and we celebrated Christmas that evening after another feast! (it's a good thing this holiday comes once a year or we'd all be fat) The girls loved their presents from everyone. (Uncle Paul, the toy you got them where they hit the balls is there favorite present)
Tuesday we went to Aunt Kathy and Uncle Rick's for deserts. (again more food that was not necessary but it was all good!)
Wednesday we packed up and headed back to my Dad's house. We figured that the drive wouldn't be so bad if we broke it up.
Thursday was got up and headed out first thing to return to our home.
Eric, the girls and I celebrated our Christmas Sunday Morning. We are still trying to get them back on their regular schedule.
