.: Basement Update

Uncle Rick would be so proud of me!!! I hope I didn't jinx myself. I've been painting around the ceiling without tape. I've never done that before! I thought I would practice with the primer and if I was feeling really brave I would try it with paint. Well.. I have two rooms done and feel very confident about the other two. I think the paint we selected is a little yellow for my liking and just doesn't look quite like the swatch that we picked out. After our first coat goes on we might be heading back to Menards to get another color that will darken the walls up. As for the bathroom floor. Eric is doing an awesome job!!!! We have 4 more smaller tiles to lay but we're waiting until tomorrow when our contractor comes. (he has a saw that will make cutting the tile a lot easier). Here's a sneak peak.. (I'm thinking the gray doesn't match the tile so we might be repainting this room too.)
