The girls are growing so fast! It's hard to believe that just 4 mos ago they were still inside me. It seems like forever. It's amazing how they've changed so much since we first brought them home. Their sleep pattern, their cries, their personalities. It's hard to believe that they'll be starting cereal next week.
I can carry Sarah on my hip now and not worry about her flipping over. She's only rolled over once. She likes to stand and loves sitting up when you hold her fingers. She leans too far forward when she sits by herself. Sarah loves playing on the gym sets and sucking her thumb. My brother made the comment that she's just like me... she loves to sleep!
Rachel is rolling over. The last 24 hours I've had to roll her back over onto her belly 6 times. It seems that she can roll to her back but is not capable of rolling back over so she just cries and flings her arms in the air. She's been grabbing toys and playing with the gym sets and putting her hands in her mouth more and more.
They like joining us at the table for dinner (in their high chairs). Rachel is already planning her escape, she stares at the tray table with a look of intrigue. Sarah likes to watch the toys and just look around. They both watch us eat, the girls are mesmerized in the mornings when I eat my cereal. They watch as the spoon goes in the bowl to my mouth then they mimic me chewing. (they also stick out their tongues) They are soo cute when they are learning new things. They just look at you and you can see them trying to process everything.
This morning the girls were just chatting away so I called Daddy at work. They talked to him for a good 5+ minutes. You can tell who they are since their chatters are nothing alike. Sarah sounds more like a cat and Rachel sounds like a little baby.
This weekend we'll be going home to Dayton for Easter with my family and the girls Open House. I hope to get a lot of new fun pictures and maybe even some video (if I can figure that out)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
