Busy, Busy, Busy

This past weekend was very eventful! Friday night a friend of Eric’s from work and her fiancé stopped by. We talked and watched basketball all evening. I was telling Eric how nice it was to actually have company (other than Joy and the neighbors). We haven't 'entertained' anyone since the girls were a couple weeks old. It felt great talking with adults.

Rachel woke me up around 1:30a Friday night crying. I went and checked on her since it's not like her to get up in the middle of the night. She had rolled over onto her back and couldn't get herself rolled back over to her belly. I couldn't believe it! First sitting up now she's starting to roll.

Saturday I ran errands in the morning and then went scrap booking at Joy's house for about 3 or so hours. The girl’s baby books are all caught up! I felt bad leaving Eric with the girls all day since I know how they can get. It felt really good to get out! He said they were good and they had a lot of bonding time. They also got manicures/pedicures. (I'm so glad he does this, I'm afraid I'll cut their fingers off)

Sarah is drooling A LOT. I don't see any teeth but I'm sure they won't be too far off. The books say right around this time is when it can begin. Who knows?
Rachel on the other hand, has just started putting her hand in her mouth over the last day or two and is drooling and leaving wet marks on my shirt. Yesterday she was very fussy crying like she's in pain and only eating 3oz instead of 5oz. Also she's taking very short naps maybe 30-45 min. I finally caved and gave her some Tylenol to see if that would help. It did a little and then she finally fell asleep. If teething is anything like yesterday I hope they do it at the same time so I’m only crazy for a short time and not for months straight.
