.: 2 Months Old

Okay, their 2 mos appt didn't go too bad. The girls did wonderfully with their shots. I was pretty worried not knowing how they would react. I couldn't watch when they gave them to Sarah but I was able to pull myself together for Rachel's. I couldn't believe it, 2 shots in each leg and an oral dose. I think that excuses them from being fussy and wanting to be held.

Sarah weighed 10# 4 oz and was 22 3/4 " long. She's grown 2 inches since birth. She started taking prevacid for acid reflux and it seems to be working. She can sit in a boppy pillow, swing or just lay on the floor for more then a couple minutes and not scream. She's a completely different kid!

Rachel weighed 8# 11 oz and was 21" long. The Dr said she was doing great considering it took her a while to start gaining weight. She was our more fussy one over the weekend. We weren't quite sure what was wrong with her or what to do to help her feel better but she seems to be getting back to her old self again.

Last week was so nice while Eric was on jury duty.When he wasn't sick he was home at a great time and helped out sooo much. I don't think I even took care of Sarah this past weekend. Eric was amazing! He got up and fed the girls through the night and let me sleep. I only got up to pump. He's the best husband and daddy anyone could ask for!! Needless to say we miss him a lot today and can't wait to see him!!

I would have posted earlier today however the girls and I packed up and headed to ToysRUs. They had a great sale with Fisher-Price buy one over $20.00 get one ($19.99 or less free). Michelle called and asked me to pick some things up for her. I can't believe how many toys we got and didn't spend that much money. I tell you, Michelle is a bargain shopper!! She knows the deals!
