Failed.... Passed!!!!

Two weeks ago I went in for my 1 hour Glucose test. They called me two days later and said that I failed (not even close to passing). I had to schedule my 3 hour test for this past week. It was a long 3 hours… I never heard from the Dr’s office so I asked how it went today at my appt and the Dr said I passed with flying colors!

I expected today to be just a regular check up, I’m in, I’m out, I’m good to go. My exam was going great! Baby A punched the nurse while she was taking the heartbeat. Needless to say it was strong 142. Baby B was a little calmer with a heartbeat of 138. I’ve managed to gain another pound and my belly has grown 1.5 weeks. (That puts me measuring at 36 weeks when I’m only 28) Then the Dr came in and did my actual exam. He’s a little concerned because there was a change in my cervix from the last appt. (I’ve also been having contractions more frequently). He mentioned giving me steroid shots for the better development of the kid’s lungs just in case they were to insist on coming a lot sooner than they should. Friday is my appt with the High Risk Dr so we shall see what he says and go from there. Our goal is 30 weeks once we hit that our goal is then week by week. I would like to make it to at least 35 weeks (at the earliest). I’ll keep you posted and hopefully have more pictures on Friday.
