Long Time...

Sorry it's been so long since I last updated our blog. Not much has been going on. My last couple Dr appointments have gone well. He's mad at me because I'm still not gaining any weight (I've never been told to gain before). The babies are growing and I'm able to feel them now. The Dr says Eric will get to join in feeling them in the next month or so.

We broke down and traded my Grand Am in for an 'Ohio State Tailgating' vehicle (aka Mini Van). We drove it to Ohio for the Barclay reunion a couple weeks ago to see how it would feel going long distances. It rides nice and is spacious.

Okay, so the wait has seemed like forever. We had our 20 week appointment on Monday (08/14/06) which means we are now over the halfway mark. We could have two new babies anywhere between 12 & 18 weeks from now. Getting prepared for this adjustment is overwhelming! However, we are loving it! Hopefully this weekend (if it's not too humid out) we'll (Eric) will get the nursery painted and then we can start organizing the babies room. I have new ultrasound pictures but I'm not able to scan them in since our office has been relocated to the basement and our printer/scanner is still in a box. Hopefully I can get that taken care of this weekend so you can see how cute our little people are. The perinatologist (high risk dr) said both babies looked great and they were doing well for their age. My visit was for an 1 1/2 hours and it seemed like the nurse was pushing the babies through my back. They needed to get good measurement of the twins brains, hearts, bones, bellies etc.. Baby A's heartbeat was 150 and weighed 13 oz and baby B's heartbeat was 138 and weighed 11 oz. (A Single baby should weigh a pound at 21 weeks) I think our kids are doing pretty well for two!

Next weekend Eric and I are going to Wayne and Michelle's new house for the unloading event. Eric will of course be doing all the work and I will get to love and spoil my niece and nephews!! We are sooooo excited that they are moving within 2.5 hours of us! Eric and Wayne are already planning on attending 2 Ohio State games. I just hope I don’t go into labor while they’re gone!!
